RULEMAKING PROCEEDINGS

Florida Statutes require that any policy or regulation that will be applied universally by a state agency be promulgated as a rule through designated rulemaking procedures. The Law Offices of Karl David Acuff has extensive experience litigating in this field. In addition to challenging the use of unpromulgated rules, the firm has experience challenging rules and the application of rules. 

The firm also has experience from the agency point of view in the development of new rules, dealings with the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee (JAPC) and the detailed statutory and rule requirements for the adoption or amendment of rules.
